SmallRig 4407B SmallRig X Brandon Li Mobile Video Kit iPhone 15Pro Max Co-Design | A phone-first kit for deliberate video making

Your iPhone 15 Pro Max can be the centre of a more considered video routine, with the SmallRig 4407B made specifically as a mobile video accessory for that phone. Co-designed with Brandon Li, it’s aimed at people who want to make videos on a smartphone they already know: social clips, travel footage, behind-the-scenes moments or personal projects. The kit’s clearest appeal is its phone-first approach. You can plan a sequence, frame your shots and keep recording on the iPhone, rather than switching between devices as you work. It suits creators who value a compact mobile workflow and want an accessory kit centred on their iPhone 15 Pro Max. If you’re choosing it for a particular filming style, think about the videos you make most often and how a phone-based setup fits into that process.

Specialist Note

15 Pro Max is the key number here: it identifies the phone this kit is designed around, so it makes sense for someone who plans to do their mobile filming on that model. Brandon Li’s co-design gives the kit a clear connection to video creation, rather than leaving it as a generic smartphone accessory. For short social clips, decide on your shot order first and keep the iPhone as your camera throughout the sequence. For a quick interview, frame the speaker before you start and let them finish a complete answer without breaking the recording. This is a phone-first option; it suits a creator building a video routine around an iPhone, not someone looking for a separate video camera.
