SmallRig 5945 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Panasonic S9
SmallRig 5945 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Panasonic S9 | A wooden grip for tripod-ready setups
SmallRig 5945 L-Shaped Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Panasonic S9 pairs a wooden handle with an L-shaped mounting plate in a tripod accessory for Panasonic S9 owners. It suits photographers who want a handle and a tripod accessory as part of the same camera setup, rather than a plate on its own. The appeal is straightforward: it brings a distinct place to hold the camera together with a plate designed for mounting use. That makes sense for a walk-around setup that may also spend time on a tripod, such as street photography followed by a carefully framed still subject. It’s a specific accessory for the Panasonic S9, so its value is clearest if that’s the camera you use. If you’re choosing an add-on for another camera, this isn’t the one to assume will fit.
Specialist Note
Early light is coming through the window, and the Panasonic S9 is set up for a few still-life frames before the day gets busy. For that kind of change of pace, this SmallRig gives you both a wooden handle and an L-shaped mount plate in one camera accessory. I’d use the handle as the defined grip for a handheld walk-around, then use the plate when setting the camera up for a steady tripod composition. The wood gives the grip a different feel from a bare plate, while the L shape makes the mounting part of the design clear. It’s aimed at Panasonic S9 owners, not a general-purpose handle for a collection of cameras.
