STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve (16 inch) - Black Slate
STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve (16 inch) - Black Slate | Keep gear protected inside a larger bag
STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve (16 inch) - Black Slate is a 16-inch protective pouch for helping guard gear against scratches and bumps inside a larger bag. It suits people who want a separate layer around their gear while carrying it alongside other things, rather than a case to carry on its own. The sleeve format gives you a simple way to put the item away before it goes into your main bag, then take it out when you need it. That makes sense for day-to-day transport between home, work or a photo location, especially when your bag also holds items that could rub against your gear. Its Black Slate finish keeps the look understated. The useful point here is focused protection during packed-bag transport: it helps guard against surface marks and bumps. If you need a dedicated carry bag with room for extra kit, this has a narrower role; think of it as an inner layer.
Specialist Note
Once it’s inside your larger bag, the sleeve gives your gear a separate place among the other contents, so there’s less to worry about when you’re carrying several things together. The 16-inch size gives you a clear format to choose around, and the pouch design suits gear that needs a buffer from scratches and bumps rather than a full carry setup. I’d use it when packing gear alongside everyday items, or when moving it between storage and a larger camera bag: put the gear in the sleeve first, then place it inside the bag. It’s best paired with that larger bag; on its own, it isn’t a complete carry solution.
