SWIT SL-100P SL-100P | 100W 2800LUX Full-IP54-Waterproof Light DMX V-Mount

SWIT SL-100P | A 100W light for studio and set work

The SL-100P brings a specific combination to studio and set lighting: 100W output, 2,800 lux, IP54 protection, DMX and V-Mount. It’s aimed at crews and lighting specialists who need those details to fit the way they already work, rather than shoppers looking for an unspecified general-purpose lamp. The stated IP54 waterproof rating makes protection part of its appeal, while the DMX and V-Mount designations are useful markers when planning a lighting setup. In short, this is a light to consider when those are the requirements on your list. One honest caveat: a lux figure is most useful when you can compare it in the context of your own lighting needs. The product name gives the number, but it doesn’t tell the whole story of how a light will serve a particular scene. Check that the stated output and connections suit the job you have in mind.

Choosing it for your setup

For a studio or set, the value of a light often comes down to whether its stated features match the equipment and working method already in place. The SL-100P gives you clear points to assess: its power figure, illumination figure, protection rating, control designation and mount. Those details help narrow the choice without relying on vague claims about what it can do. If DMX and V-Mount are part of your planned setup, this model is worth considering on that basis. If they aren’t, those labels may matter less to your decision. That’s a practical way to judge it: start with what your lighting work calls for, then compare the figures and designations below against that need.
