Telesin 67mm ND16 Lens Filter
Telesin 67mm ND16 Lens Filter | Slow shutter speeds in bright light
To soften the movement of water or clouds in daylight, an ND filter reduces the light reaching your camera so you can use a slower shutter speed. The Telesin 67mm ND16 Lens Filter is a lens filter with a 67mm size and ND16 density, suited to photographers who want to explore that effect without waiting for dimmer conditions. ND16 represents a one-sixteenth reduction in light, or four stops, giving you more room to lengthen exposure in bright scenes. That can turn ripples into a smoother surface or give passing clouds a gentle blur. It’s also useful when you want to keep a wider aperture outdoors while controlling the exposure. The size matters for fit: this filter is for a lens that accepts 67mm filters. It won’t fit a lens with a different filter size, so match that measurement before you plan a setup.
Specialist Note
The 67mm filter ring gives you a clear fit check before you set out: your lens needs to accept 67mm filters. The ND16 rating is the part that changes your exposure options, cutting light to one-sixteenth so you can choose a longer shutter speed in bright conditions. For a softer-looking stream, compose the water and lengthen the exposure until its movement blends; for clouds, keep the camera steady and use a longer exposure to show their drift. I’d suggest it to someone who wants to experiment with motion in daylight, rather than a filter for every shooting situation. Its fixed ND16 strength is the trade-off: it gives you that light reduction, not a range of strengths.
