TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To R

TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To R | A longer tether reach for your setup

TetherTools Leverlock & Cable Kit Optima 10G 15' (4.6m) Straight To R is a 15-foot cable kit for tethered camera work. It’s aimed at photographers who want their camera connected as part of a working setup, rather than relying on a short lead that dictates where everything has to sit. The title identifies this as an Optima 10G kit, with a Straight To R configuration; those details help distinguish it when you’re choosing among cable options. Its length gives you room to arrange a tether station around the way you work, whether that’s beside a shooting area or at a nearby workstation. The honest point: cable reach is useful only when it suits your layout, so think through the route before you set up. This is a specific cable kit, not a claim of universal camera compatibility.

Planning your tether setup

A tethered workflow depends on the cable reaching between the camera position and the place you’re working from. This kit’s stated length gives you a clear figure to plan around: measure the intended route, including any turns, rather than judging the distance in a straight line. Keep the path orderly and away from places where people regularly walk. That small bit of planning can make a shooting session less awkward.

The product name also gives you the identifying terms to match against your equipment and the cable option you need. If you’re replacing a cable or adding one to an existing setup, compare the full name carefully instead of relying on the brand alone. “Straight To R” is part of this version’s description; keep that wording in mind when selecting the particular configuration for your layout. The title doesn’t identify camera compatibility, so this page doesn’t assign it to a camera system. In short, choose it for the stated cable format and reach when those suit your tether station.
