TetherTools Rock Solid VESA Go Monitor Mount For Tripods
TetherTools Rock Solid VESA Go Monitor Mount For Tripods | Put your monitor on a tripod
The VESA interface is the defining choice here: it provides the connection for a compatible monitor, while the tripod mounting purpose brings that screen into a tripod-based setup. TetherTools’ Rock Solid VESA Go Monitor Mount is a tripod accessory for photographers and video makers who want a monitor as part of their camera-side workspace. It’s most useful when a camera’s own display is awkward to view while you’re composing a shot, checking framing or directing a recording. Instead of keeping the monitor separate on a desk, you can include it in the setup around your tripod. The important point is the VESA fit: your monitor needs a matching VESA mounting point. That makes this a focused solution for a monitor-and-tripod arrangement, rather than a mount whose screen compatibility you should assume.
Specialist Note
It keeps the monitor with your tripod setup, so your viewing position can stay near the camera instead of back at a desk. I’d consider it for a one-monitor arrangement during a fixed interview or tabletop video setup: place the screen on the tripod and use it to follow the framing as you arrange the scene. The VESA connection matters because your monitor needs the matching VESA mounting point; the tripod purpose makes it relevant when you want the display alongside your support rig. It’s a straightforward answer when those parts already fit your setup, but it’s a mount, not a monitor or a complete monitoring system. If you need to position the display independently of the tripod, this isn’t the right arrangement.
