Transcend CF 32GB (800X Type I)
Transcend CF 32GB (800X Type I) | Keep your photos together
Keep a photography session’s files together on one removable card, rather than having to clear space partway through. The Transcend CF 32GB (800X Type I) is a Compact Flash memory card for photographers whose camera takes a Type I CF card. Its 32GB capacity gives you room to work before transferring your files, while the 800X marking identifies its speed rating. It’s best suited to still-photo work where you want a dedicated card for a session or assignment, then a clear point at which to copy the files to your computer or storage. You can also keep it as a spare for a compatible camera. The amount you can store depends on the size of your files, so the capacity won’t translate to one fixed number of photographs. This is a straightforward card choice when your camera specifically uses Compact Flash.
Specialist Note
This card gives you a better option than pausing to delete images when your working card fills up: keep the session’s files together and transfer them afterwards. The 32GB capacity gives you a useful amount of space for that approach, though the number of photos it holds will vary with file size. Its Type I format matters at the camera end, so it suits customers with a camera that takes Type I Compact Flash. I’d use it as a dedicated still-photo card and make file transfers part of the end-of-session routine. The 800X marking is a speed rating, but it doesn’t promise a particular result in every camera or reader.
