With its lightweight prime lens design, the TTArtisan APS-C AF 56mm F/1.8, silver Sony E-mount, provides an ideal solution for portrait photography. Specifically configured to complement APS-C Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, it offers an equivalent full-frame portrait length of 84mm. Its bright maximum f/1.8 aperture ensures picture-perfect images even in low-light conditions.

Its design integrates a minimum focusing distance of 50cm and includes a stepper motor to control the autofocus, thereby enabling silent and rapid performance capabilities. Thanks to the additional extra-low dispersion (ED) element, any color fringing and chromatic aberrations can be reduced to achieve better clarity and accuracy.

The optical design features ten elements in nine groups that collectively work to decrease dispersion and chromatic aberration. Included are an ED and two high index elements. The accuracy provided by eye-detection allows for effortless image capture while ensuring subject sharpness. It's also beneficial for tracking subjects during video recording, ensuring the produced images are crisp and smooth.

Constructed with an aluminum lens cylinder and mount, this contributes to a durable yet lightweight build. The lens also includes a built-in USB-C port for firmware updates.
