Ulanzi AM18 U-Mic Wireless Microphone Set w/ 2 Transmitters
Ulanzi AM18 U-Mic Wireless Microphone Set w/ 2 Transmitters | Two-person wireless audio
Your two-person conversation can be recorded without a mic cable tethering each speaker to the recording setup. The Ulanzi AM18 U-Mic is a wireless microphone set with two transmitters, for creators who film interviews, host-and-guest segments or paired pieces to camera. Assign one transmitter to each speaker and you can record both sides of the conversation without passing a single mic back and forth. That helps keep an interview moving and makes the set a natural fit for social video and small productions built around two people talking. Its appeal is specific: wireless microphone recording with two transmitters in one set. If most of your videos are solo, the second transmitter may not add much. For two-person recordings, though, it gives each speaker a dedicated transmitter and lets the conversation flow more naturally.
Specialist Note
Two transmitters means you can assign one to each person in a two-person recording, instead of swapping a single mic between turns. Since the AM18 is wireless, it suits a host and guest who need to speak naturally on camera without being tethered by a mic cable. For an interview or a two-person piece to camera, I’d give each speaker a transmitter before you start recording, so both sides of the conversation are covered from the outset. It’s a focused setup for two people, rather than a way to mic a whole group. If you mainly record solo videos, you may have little use for that second transmitter.
