Urth 77mm Magnetic UV Filter Pro
Urth 77mm Magnetic UV Filter Pro | UV filtering with magnetic fitting
The Urth 77mm Magnetic UV Filter Pro is a 77mm UV filter with a magnetic fitting, for photographers who want to add UV filtering without relying on a conventional screw-on filter each time. It suits anyone whose lens takes a 77mm filter and whose kit is set up for magnetic filters. Use it for outdoor landscapes or daylight scenes when you want a UV filter in your setup; the magnetic format is especially relevant if you regularly take a filter on and off. The 77mm size is specific, so it won’t suit a lens with a different filter size. And while UV filtering is the purpose here, it’s sensible to choose this filter for that role rather than expect a dramatic change in every image. The product name identifies the Pro version, but doesn’t give further construction or optical details to weigh against other filters.
Specialist Note
Salt air hangs over the harbour as the sun drops behind the boats; this is the sort of outdoor scene where a UV filter can earn a place in your kit. I’d point this Urth towards someone with a 77mm lens who wants to work with a magnetic filter setup. That size means it’s a lens-specific fit, so compare it with the filter size your lens accepts before choosing it. The magnetic fitting suits a routine where you remove the filter between shots or setups, rather than leaving one fixed in place. One honest point: if your other lenses use different filter sizes, this single filter won’t cover them too.
