Urth Lens Mount Adapter Canon FD Lens To Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) Camera Body
Urth Lens Mount Adapter Canon FD Lens To Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) Camera Body | Use your Canon FD lenses on a Micro Four Thirds body
Use a Canon FD lens on a Micro Four Thirds camera body and keep making photographs with a lens you already own. The Urth Lens Mount Adapter Canon FD Lens To Micro Four Thirds (M4/3) Camera Body bridges those two mount types, giving photographers with Canon FD glass a way to pair it with a Micro Four Thirds camera. It suits people who want to bring an existing lens into their current camera setup, rather than leave it unused when changing bodies. That can mean framing a portrait with a familiar lens or arranging a still life around the view that lens gives you. The result depends on the particular lens and the way you use it; the adapter’s role is the connection between lens and camera body. It’s a focused solution for photographers who know which Canon FD lens they want to use and need the matching mount connection.
Specialist Note
An FD lens can be left out of your setup when your camera body uses a different mount; this adapter addresses that mismatch. The Canon FD end is for the lens you want to bring along, while the Micro Four Thirds end is for the camera body you want to use it on. I’d consider it for someone with a particular FD lens in mind, perhaps to frame a portrait or build a still-life composition around that lens. Choose the subject and framing with the lens you’re adapting, then use the camera to compose the image. One honest point: this is a mount adapter, so the picture you make still depends on the lens and camera, not on the adapter changing either one.
