Viltrox L116T Professional & Ultrathin LED Light

Viltrox L116T Professional & Ultrathin LED Light | Continuous light for considered setups

For lighting a talking-head clip, tabletop demonstration or carefully arranged still life, a continuous source lets you see the effect as you work. The Viltrox L116T Professional & Ultrathin LED Light is a continuous LED light for photographers and video makers planning a controlled lighting setup. Its name describes it as professional and ultrathin; those are the specific design cues available, so I wouldn’t assume details about brightness, colour control or power. The practical appeal of continuous light is that you can judge where the light falls while you compose and record, rather than relying on a flash burst. That can make it easier to adjust the position of the light or your subject and assess the result in real time. It’s a focused kind of tool: most relevant when you want to work deliberately with a scene, rather than simply add a general-purpose accessory to your kit.

When you’re planning a setup, start with the subject and the space around it. Consider where you want the light to fall, what else in the scene may affect the look, and how much room you have to position the light. Those choices matter more than a product name alone, especially for close work or a small filming area. The L116T’s title points to an ultrathin design, but it doesn’t give a measurement, so I’d avoid planning around a specific clearance or storage space without checking the physical product. If you’re comparing continuous lights, make a shortlist from the requirements that matter to your shoot; this model’s confirmed description is simply a Viltrox LED light in the continuous-light category.
