Westcott L60-B Bi-Colour COB LED 2-LIGHT Backpack Kit

Westcott L60-B Bi-Colour COB LED 2-LIGHT Backpack Kit | Build flexible two-light studio setups

Without a second light, shaping a studio scene often means choosing between lighting your subject and controlling what happens around them. The Westcott L60-B Bi-Colour COB LED 2-LIGHT Backpack Kit gives you a two-light starting point in a single kit. It’s suited to photographers setting up portraits, product images or other studio work who want to work with more than one light source. Two lights let you try a simple key-and-fill arrangement, or place one light on the subject and use the other to influence the background. The bi-colour description is useful when you’re thinking about how the light should sit with the look of a scene. It’s a straightforward concept, but placement still matters: even a small change in where you put a light can alter shadows and contrast. This kit is best for people who want to shape a scene with two lights, rather than rely on one source alone.

Putting two lights to work

Start by deciding what you want the main light to do. Then consider whether the second light should soften shadows, add separation from the background, or give that background its own illumination. You don’t need to use both lights with equal strength or give them equal importance; one can do most of the work while the other makes a smaller adjustment. That approach gives you room to experiment with the balance of a scene without changing the subject or camera position. There’s no single arrangement that suits every photograph, so expect to make small placement changes and judge the result in your frame.

The COB LED wording identifies the light source type, while bi-colour describes the kit’s colour approach. Those details make this a specific studio-lighting option, rather than a general-purpose camera accessory. The backpack-kit designation also makes it easy to identify as a combined two-light kit when comparing studio setups. If you’re planning a lighting setup, think first about the kind of shadows and background you want; that will help you decide how to position the two lights once you’re working.
