Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate ARRI Wedge Spring Set Only
Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate ARRI Wedge Spring Set Only | A part-specific baseplate accessory
For work on a camera support setup built around the Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate, this spring set is a part-specific accessory for the ARRI Wedge arrangement. The product name is precise: Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate ARRI Wedge Spring Set Only. It’s suited to someone sourcing this named part for a setup that uses that baseplate and wedge, rather than shopping for a complete support system. The useful thing here is the clear identification: both the baseplate family and the wedge are called out, so you can match the product name to the arrangement you’re maintaining. It’s best approached as a focused accessory purchase, not as a general tripod upgrade. If you’re organising parts for a rig, keep the full product name to hand when identifying what you need; the “Set Only” wording matters.
Buying the right part
This is a specialist accessory, so the naming is more useful than a broad promise of improved support. The listing identifies a spring set for the ARRI Wedge within the Unified Baseplate name. That makes it relevant when you’re dealing with that particular configuration. It isn’t presented as a complete baseplate or as a general-purpose tripod component. For a shop order or kit record, use the full name rather than shortening it to “spring set”; that keeps the wedge and baseplate references together and reduces the chance of confusing it with another rig part.
Specialist Note
The spring is the telling physical detail here: it marks this out as a specific part of the ARRI Wedge arrangement, not a broad tripod accessory. I’d consider it for someone maintaining a Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate setup and sourcing the spring set by its full name. The practical step is to match both “Unified Baseplate” and “ARRI Wedge” against the part you’re replacing before placing the order. The title says “Set Only”, so treat this as the named spring-set purchase, not a complete baseplate. Its appeal is that focused fit to a clearly identified setup; it won’t serve as a general-purpose support accessory.
