Zoom F6 Multitrack Field Recorder: Your Ultimate Portable Audio Solution

The Zoom F6 Multitrack Field Recorder is a compact audio recording device designed for on-location use. Featuring six professional XLR inputs, it is well-equipped to handle a wide range of recording tasks. With its 32-bit float recording quality and dual A/D converters, it captures sound with remarkable clarity. Thanks to its advanced technology, you can rest assured that you won't experience clipping from loud noises or difficulty hearing softer sounds, regardless of the recording environment.

This portable recorder's sleek design makes it easy to transport, fitting comfortably in your bag, and it can be conveniently mounted on your DSLR or mirrorless camera. The vibrant LCD display provides all necessary information at a glance, while the intuitive interface ensures effortless operation. You can also control the recorder using the optional F Controll App (BTA-1 adapter required) or the separately available FRC-8 control panel.

To keep your audio and video tracks in perfect sync, the F6 comes equipped with a built-in timecode generator that can link to other devices on your set, ensuring precise timecode accuracy. In 24-bit mode, the F6 can capture loud sounds without error, thanks to its ability to detect sounds just one millisecond before they are recorded, thus avoiding clipping. The AutoMix function intelligently adjusts audio levels to adapt to ambient sound, simplifying the recording process for you.

Recording is done via an SDXC card (not included), and you'll find various power options available. You can operate the F6 for up to 16 hours continuously using a Sony L-series battery, or about 7.5 hours with four AA batteries. An optional USB ZOOM AD-17 adapter can also provide power to the unit.
