Because the camera captures everything around you, you can choose the perfect framing later. The Insta360 app makes this easy with AI reframing tools. When paired with the Invisible Selfie Stick, the stick disappears automatically from your shots for a clean, floating perspective.

Flexible shooting modes

In addition to 360° recording, the X4 Air offers Single Lens Mode and Me Mode for different shooting styles.

• Single Lens Mode: use the camera like a regular action cam with 4K 60 fps recording or 170° ultra-wide shots in 4K 30 fps.
• Me Mode: film yourself and your surroundings together in 4K 30 fps or 2.7K 120 fps without needing to reframe later.
• Creative video modes: Active HDR, Timelapse, TimeShift, Bullet Time, Loop Recording, and Pre-recording.

Stable, sharp, and ready for action

FlowState stabilization helps keep your footage smooth, even during fast movement. Turn on 360° Horizon Lock and your videos stay level no matter how intense the action gets.

The camera is waterproof to 15 meters straight out of the box, and up to 50 meters with the separately available Dive Case. On land, improved Auto/Active Wind Reduction helps minimize wind noise in your clips.

Easy to protect and control

The included Lens Guards are made from scratch-resistant tempered glass, helping protect the lenses during active use. You can control the camera through the touchscreen, physical buttons, Gesture Control, or Voice Control 2.0 for quick hands-free operation.

Battery and editing
