Laowa Sword Cine 6 Lens Bundle (15mm 25mm 35mm 60mm 100mm 180mm) ARRI PL | Six focal lengths for deliberate cinema framing

Your framing can move from a broad establishing view to a much tighter shot without changing lens systems. The Laowa Sword Cine 6 Lens Bundle brings six focal lengths together for filmmakers who want a range of framing options in a manual-focus cine lens kit. It’s suited to video production where the operator or focus puller wants direct control over focus, and where choosing a specific focal length is part of shaping each shot. Use the set to plan changes in perspective between scenes, or to adjust the frame between takes when a zoom isn’t the tool you want. The shared PL mount gives the set a clear place in a PL-based cinema setup. It’s a practical fit for productions that value considered lens changes and hands-on focus work.

Specialist Note

First-time cine-lens buyers sometimes expect one lens to cover every framing need; this set asks you to choose your viewpoint instead. I’d use the 15mm for a broad establishing frame, then move to the 180mm when you want a much tighter view of a subject farther away. Manual focus makes focus changes a deliberate part of the shot, rather than something left to an automatic system. It suits filmmakers who are happy to work with primes and allow time for lens changes between setups. The honest trade-off is that changing focal length means changing lenses, so it’s less immediate than working with a zoom.
