FALCAM Maglink Magnetic Quick Release Buckle Shoulder Strap Classic V2 (Grey) | Release your strap at the buckle

When you want to take your camera strap off for a change of pace, a quick-release buckle can make that easier than removing the strap itself. The FALCAM Maglink Classic V2 is a grey shoulder strap with a magnetic quick-release buckle, giving you a way to detach the strap at that point. It suits photographers who carry a camera on a shoulder strap but sometimes prefer to work without one attached. For example, you can release the buckle when setting up for a shot where a hanging strap would get in the way, then reconnect it when you’re ready to carry the camera again. Its grey finish keeps the look understated. The product name identifies it as the Classic V2, so you can distinguish this version by name when choosing accessories.

Everyday use

This strap is about having a shoulder-carry option with a release built into the buckle. That can be handy during a break or when you want the camera free of its strap for a particular task. The useful detail is the release point: it gives you a specific place to separate the strap, rather than requiring you to take it off at the shoulder.

Specialist Note

The magnetic buckle is the detail that changes how you use this strap: it gives you a release point when you want the camera free of the shoulder strap. I’d consider it for a camera you carry between shooting moments, especially if you sometimes want to work without a strap hanging from it. The strap’s shoulder-carry format suits that in-between use, while the magnetic quick release gives you a way to separate it at the buckle. The Classic V2 name is also a handy version identifier when you’re comparing FALCAM accessories. One practical note: this is still a shoulder strap, so it’s best suited to carrying the camera rather than replacing a dedicated camera support.
