How the Black Mist effect works

This filter has the look of clear glass at first glance, but its diffused structure and fine dark particles help maintain contrast while gently spreading bright light. The result is a delicate mist-like effect that becomes more visible as highlights become stronger in the scene.

With even lighting, the effect is minimal. When bright light sources or strong highlights are present, the filter creates a more noticeable atmospheric glow. The 1/2 version delivers a stronger effect than the 1/4 variant.
