SmallRig Cage: An Essential Accessory for the Nikon Z9

Introducing the SmallRig Cage, specifically designed for the Nikon Z9 camera. This accessory provides not only protection for your camera but also enables various accessory attachments.

The cage securely clamps onto the camera using a 1/4''-20 screw and alignment pin positioned on the base and the hole on the right side of the strap. The cage comes equipped with numerous 1/4''-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes. These features enable numerous enhancements such as a top handle, side handle, and an HSS2624.

Another additional component unique to this cage is the cold shoe feature at the top. It offers the convenience of attaching microphones, LED lights, and similar technological gear. The base of the cage integrates an Arca Swiss-plate allowing you to quickly switch to tripod shooting. This part also houses many additional 1/4''-20 threaded holes for mounting DJI RS 2/ RSC 2 quick release plate (top) with two 1/4” screws.

Moreover, the front of the cage features two 1/4''-20 threaded holes. These holes support the attachment of a 15mm Rod Clamp 942 which aids in supporting the lens, follow focus, matte box, etc.
