Significantly, the Sekonic C-800 incorporates measurements like CRI, TLCI, TLMF, TM-30-15 as well as the unique Spectral Similarity Index (SSI) that was developed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science and Technology Council. Unlike other measurements that rely on human vision or a specific type of camera, SSI measures how closely a color spectrum coincides with a reference spectrum such as tungsten or daylight.
