Falcon Eyes Mini Reflector SGA-SR173S

Falcon Eyes Mini Reflector SGA-SR173S | A small reflector for shaping light

When light leaves part of a subject too dark, adding another lamp isn’t always the answer. A reflector gives you a way to redirect existing light, and the Falcon Eyes Mini Reflector SGA-SR173S is a mini reflector screen for that kind of adjustment. It may suit photographers who want to work with reflected light on a smaller scale, rather than reach for a larger reflector screen. You can use a reflector to bring light back towards a subject and reduce the contrast between brighter and darker areas. The effect depends on the light you have and where you place the screen, so a little repositioning is part of the process. There’s no complicated claim behind this product name: it’s a mini reflector from Falcon Eyes. If you’re looking for a reflector screen, that’s the useful starting point.

Using a reflector screen

Reflectors are most helpful when you can see where the existing light is falling and have room to adjust its direction. A small reflector can make sense for close-up work or a smaller subject, where a large screen may be more than you need. It won’t create light on its own; instead, it redirects light that’s already available. Try moving it around the subject and watch how the shadows change. Even a modest change in position can affect the balance of light, so take a moment to compare the result rather than assuming one placement will suit every scene. This is a straightforward type of accessory for photographers who want to shape available light with a reflector screen.
