TTArtisan APS-C AF 35mm f/1.8 MkII Silver - Fuji X Mount | A natural view for street and travel

Street scenes and travel details are easier to frame with a natural perspective that keeps your subject clear without losing the feel of its surroundings. The TTArtisan APS-C AF 35mm f/1.8 MkII Silver - Fuji X Mount is a standard prime lens for Fujifilm X APS-C cameras, with autofocus and a fixed focal length. It suits photographers who want a straightforward lens for wandering city streets, noticing small details and making portraits in everyday settings. Rather than zooming, you adjust your position to change the composition; that can make choosing what belongs in the frame feel more deliberate. The silver finish adds a distinctive look to your camera setup. This lens is best suited to street photography and travel, where a versatile everyday view is more useful than a very wide or very tight one.

Specialist Note

Missing a passing expression while you concentrate on focusing is a frustration autofocus can help remove. I’d use this lens for candid street portraits or details picked out from a travel scene: select autofocus, open the aperture to f/1.8 when the light is fading, and try around 1/250 sec for a moving person, adjusting ISO as needed. On a Fujifilm X APS-C body, its 35mm focal length gives a view similar to 52.5mm on full frame, which keeps the framing focused without feeling overly tight. The fixed view does mean you’ll need to move to reframe; it’s a better fit for considered street and travel shooting than situations where you need a zoom.
