TTArtisan APS-C AF23mm f/1.8 Fujifilm X-Mount

TTArtisan APS-C AF23mm f/1.8 Fujifilm X-Mount | A bright, roomy everyday view

The defining choice is a fixed 23mm focal length paired with a maximum aperture of f/1.8: it gives this prime lens a wide view and lets in plenty of light. Made for Fujifilm X cameras with APS-C sensors, it suits photographers who want one straightforward focal length for landscapes, architecture or night skies. The view has room for a broad scene without making every subject feel distant, so it can also work well for everyday shooting. Its bright aperture is especially useful when the light drops, including for astrophotography, where you may want to keep shutter times shorter. This is an autofocus lens, so you can let the camera focus while you concentrate on framing. As a prime, it has one fixed focal length rather than a zoom range; you’ll need to move yourself to change the composition.

How the 23mm view translates

On Fujifilm X bodies, 23mm gives a field of view roughly like a 35mm lens on a full-frame camera. That makes it a flexible middle ground: wide enough to place a building or landscape in its surroundings, but still easy to use for a more focused composition. For architecture, step back when you can and keep the camera level to help maintain straight-looking lines.
