Leofoto NP-50 ArcaSwiss Plate 50mm
Leofoto NP-50 ArcaSwiss Plate 50mm | A dedicated plate for Arca-Swiss setups
Without a separate plate, getting a camera onto a tripod can mean relying on the mounting point already in your setup. The Leofoto NP-50 is a tripod accessory: a 50mm Arca-Swiss plate for photographers whose tripod arrangement uses that plate format. It gives you a dedicated plate to work with, rather than asking a different part of your setup to do the job. The 50mm size makes it a specific option to consider when you need a plate of this size, whether you’re adding one for another camera setup or replacing a plate you already use. It’s most relevant to photographers who know their tripod setup calls for Arca-Swiss format; the name alone isn’t a reason to assume it suits every tripod or head. If that format and size match your needs, the NP-50 is a straightforward accessory to add to your tripod kit.
Specialist Note
“Is the NP-50 an Arca-Swiss plate in a 50mm size?” Yes—that’s exactly the point of this Leofoto accessory. The Arca-Swiss format matters because your tripod setup needs to use that same plate format; the 50mm size gives you a clear dimension to compare with the plate you need. I’d consider it for keeping a dedicated plate with a second camera setup, or for tripod work where you want the camera ready to mount without swapping plates around. It suits photographers who already use an Arca-Swiss arrangement and want this particular size. The honest caveat is that it won’t help if your setup calls for another format.
