Sachtler SAC-7013K Mini Ground Spreader EX
Sachtler SAC-7013K Mini Ground Spreader EX | Compact support at ground level
When a tripod setup needs a ground-level spreader, it helps to choose an accessory made for that role rather than add another support component without a clear purpose. The Sachtler SAC-7013K Mini Ground Spreader EX is a tripod accessory identified as a mini ground spreader. It’s suited to tripod users who need this specific kind of accessory in their setup, whether they’re arranging a camera position indoors or working in a space where a compact spreader is preferable. Its job is focused: it’s a ground spreader, not a tripod on its own. That distinction matters when planning a rig, because you’ll still need the tripod itself and a spreader that suits your setup. The product name gives you a clear starting point for identifying the part: a mini ground spreader from Sachtler.
Specialist Note
“Is the SAC-7013K a tripod, or an accessory for one?” It’s an accessory: specifically, a mini ground spreader. I’d look at it when the part you need is a spreader at ground level, rather than another support on its own. For a fixed camera position indoors, it’s the kind of component to consider when organising the tripod setup around the floor; for a compact rig, the “Mini” name makes its intended scale clear. Keep the model code, SAC-7013K, with your equipment notes so you can identify this exact part when planning a setup. Its role is deliberately specific, so it pairs with a tripod setup rather than replacing the tripod.
