The SmallRig 4523 L-Shape Mount Plate is designed to make switching between horizontal and vertical shooting fast and effortless. It improves handling, adds stability, and helps you get more out of your Nikon Z 6III in a wide range of shooting situations.

Built with a three-point locking system, the plate secures the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw, a positioning block, and the left shoulder strap ring to help prevent twisting. Protective pads are included to reduce the risk of scratches on the camera body.

The positioning block features a built-in cold shoe mount, providing extra support for the setup while helping maintain rigidity when the side plate is extended for portrait shooting. It also works with cold shoe accessories such as microphones, LED lights, wireless video transmitters, flashlights, and more.

The side plate can be extended by 22.5 mm, making cable management easier when shooting in portrait orientation. The base includes an integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate, compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals.

Multiple built-in mounting options give you plenty of flexibility for rigs and accessories, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, QD attachment points, and strap slots for wrist or shoulder straps. A 1/4"-20 locating hole on the side panel also supports accessories such as magic arms.

The hinge section near the battery compartment follows the shape of the camera body for a more comfortable grip. For added convenience, a magnetic flat-head screwdriver is stored in the base for quick assembly and removal.
