3 Legged Thing Axis Gatekeeper Moondust | Keep your camera close

Keep your camera close between frames, so it’s there when a moment catches your eye. The 3 Legged Thing Axis Gatekeeper Moondust is a camera strap for people who want to carry a camera rather than tuck it away between shots. It suits everyday outings, walks and days spent moving between places with a camera in tow. A strap has a simple job: make carrying your camera more practical while leaving your hands free when you’re not taking a picture. That can make it easier to pause, look around and bring the camera back into use when you spot a scene worth photographing. The name identifies the maker and model, while “Camera Strap” describes its role. If you’re choosing one based on a particular material, adjustment method or attachment style, those details aren’t part of the information available here, so I wouldn’t assume them.

Specialist Note

Having to put your camera away just to keep your hands free can interrupt the flow of a day out; a camera strap is there to make carrying it less of a chore. This is the Axis Gatekeeper Moondust from 3 Legged Thing, listed as a camera strap, so I’d consider it for everyday walks or for moving between spots when you want your camera with you. Keep it on while you’re walking, then bring the camera up when a picture presents itself. One practical caveat: the product name alone doesn’t tell us its material or how it attaches, so I wouldn’t choose it on those details without checking them first.
