ACT 7m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male Black

ACT 7m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male Black | A longer VGA connection

For sending a VGA picture between devices with VGA sockets, the ACT 7m High Performance VGA Cable Male-Male Black gives you a seven-metre cable run to work with. It’s a straightforward option when the screen or projector can’t sit right beside the source and you want a direct connection between the two. The cable has male connectors at both ends, so plan for a VGA socket at each device. Its length can help when equipment needs to sit on opposite sides of a room, or when you’re routing the cable around furniture rather than across the shortest line. This is a practical cable for a fixed desk, meeting space or home setup where VGA is the connection in use. One honest point: seven metres gives you reach, but it also means you’ll want to think through the route before placing the equipment.

When setting things up, measure the path the cable will actually follow, including any turns around a desk or along a wall. A route that looks short on a floor plan can take more cable once it follows the room’s edges. Leave enough slack at each end to connect the devices without pulling on the cable, and keep the route clear of places where it could be pinched or tripped over. The black finish is a restrained fit for most equipment areas, though the useful detail here is the length: you can place the connected devices farther apart than a short lead allows. This ACT cable keeps the job focused on a VGA connection, with male connectors at both ends and a seven-metre run.
