ACT 80 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male

ACT 80 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male | A long HDMI run for 4K setups

When your source and screen need to sit far apart, a short HDMI lead won’t reach; this ACT cable is made for a much longer route. It’s an 80-metre HDMI cable, with an active optical design and HDMI-A male connector naming. The title also identifies it as Premium High Speed, 4K and V2.0. That makes it relevant for a setup planned around a long HDMI connection and 4K video. The length is the main reason to consider it: this isn’t a cable for tidying up a nearby connection. It suits installations where the cable has to travel between distant points, such as across a room or along a planned route through a building. One honest point: an 80-metre cable needs a route planned around its full length, so measure the path rather than just the gap between the two devices.

Planning the route

Before choosing an 80-metre cable, trace the complete path from one end of the setup to the other. The cable may need to follow walls, pass around furniture or run along a longer route than the direct distance suggests. That’s where the stated length can be useful: you can plan for a connection that spans a substantial distance instead of relying on a short lead and an improvised position for your equipment. Keep the intended route in mind when deciding where the two ends need to reach. The product title gives you the core details to work with—HDMI, active optical, 4K, V2.0 and HDMI-A male—without making this a general-purpose cable recommendation. If a long run is what your installation calls for, those are the details to compare against your planned setup.
