ACT USB-C 3.2 GEN2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) For Touch Panels Data Power 15m

ACT USB-C 3.2 GEN2 Active Optical Cable (AOC) For Touch Panels Data Power 15m | A 15m link for touch-panel data and power

Unlike a short desk cable, this ACT Active Optical Cable is made for a 15-metre run to a touch panel, with data and power as its stated purpose. That makes it relevant when the panel needs to sit well away from the connected USB-C point and a cable of this length suits the layout. The title identifies it as USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and as an active optical cable, so the key details to match to your installation are the connection type, the intended touch-panel use and the 15m length. I’d start by measuring the route you actually need, rather than choosing by the distance between the two devices. It’s a specific cable for a defined job; the useful part is having those intended uses and length clear before you plan where it will run.

Plan the cable route

Before setting up the panel, measure along the route the cable will take, including any turns around furniture or fixtures. A straight-line measurement can be shorter than the path you need in practice. Then consider where the connected USB-C point and the touch panel will sit, and whether a 15m run works for that arrangement. This simple check helps you decide if this cable’s stated length suits your installation, without relying on assumptions about the room or the equipment. Keep the cable route in mind when choosing the panel’s position, too: a little planning beforehand is easier than rearranging the setup later. The product title gives a clear intended use, but the final fit depends on your own layout and connection needs.
