Apple Lightning To Digital AV Adapter

Apple Lightning To Digital AV Adapter | Mirror your screen in up to 1080p

Its defining feature is a direct Lightning-to-HDMI connection for showing content from a compatible Apple device on a larger screen. The Apple Lightning To Digital AV Adapter mirrors apps, websites, presentations and slideshows in up to 1080p HD. It’s for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users who need to share what’s on their device with a TV, monitor or projector that has HDMI. Use it to present slides in a meeting, view a photo slideshow on a television, or watch a film or a video you recorded on a bigger display. Video and audio output are supported, so playback includes sound as well as the picture. The adapter has a Lightning connector for the device and an HDMI connection for the display. One detail to plan for: the HDMI cable is sold separately.

Why it’s useful

• Up to 1080p HD mirroring: Apps, websites, presentations and slideshows from the connected device appear on the larger screen at up to 1080p HD.
• Video playback: Watch films, TV programmes and videos recorded on your device on a compatible television, monitor or projector.
• Audio and video output: The adapter carries both, so supported video playback includes its sound through the connected display setup.
• Lightning and HDMI connections: The adapter connects to a device with a Lightning port and provides an HDMI connection for the screen.
• Works with several display types: Connect it to an HDMI-equipped TV, monitor, projector or another compatible screen for viewing and presenting.
