B&W Type 6000 Black - Samyang Inlay
B&W Type 6000 Black - Samyang Inlay | Protection for transport and storage
Where a soft bag may not be enough, the B&W Type 6000 Black - Samyang Inlay gives your gear a hard case for transport and storage. It suits photographers who want their equipment better protected when knocks, dust or rain are part of the journey or storage conditions. That’s the job this case is best suited to: providing a more protective place for gear between shoots, rather than serving as an everyday shoulder bag. It can make sense for equipment you’re moving regularly, or for a kit you want to keep stored with an added layer of protection. The name identifies a specific black version with a Samyang Inlay, so it’s worth choosing this product for that named configuration rather than assuming it’s a general-purpose case. If your priority is carrying gear in a lightweight, quick-access bag, this is a different kind of solution; its value is in protective transport and storage.
Specialist Note
6000 is the identifier in the model name; in practical terms, don’t read it as a size or capacity. The black finish gives this version a plain, understated appearance, while “Samyang Inlay” identifies the particular configuration named here. I’d consider it for someone who wants that specific version for keeping equipment stored or moving it where knocks, dust or rain are a concern. For storage, place the gear in the case rather than leaving it exposed; for transport, use the case as the protective outer layer around the kit. My honest advice is to choose it for the named inlay and protective role, not as a substitute for a light-access camera bag.
