BORG 0610 DTG Finder Base Plate
BORG 0610 DTG Finder Base Plate | The named base plate for your finder setup
It’s easy to lose time when a finder setup needs a particular component and the part in front of you isn’t clearly identified. The BORG 0610 DTG Finder Base Plate is the base-plate component named for that finder setup, giving you a specific part to identify when assembling or maintaining your equipment. It suits BORG users whose parts list calls for this exact designation, especially when they need to distinguish the base plate from the finder itself. Its strongest use is straightforward: matching the named component to the part your setup requires, rather than choosing an unspecified plate by appearance. The product name tells you what to look for—BORG 0610 DTG, Finder Base Plate. Use that full wording when checking your parts list or planning an assembly. It’s a focused component, not a general-purpose finder accessory, so the exact designation matters.
Specialist Note
“Is the BORG 0610 DTG Finder Base Plate the finder itself?” No—it’s identified as the base plate for a finder setup, so I’d treat it as a component, not as the viewing element. The BORG 0610 DTG name is useful when you’re matching a part to a parts list; keep the full designation together rather than shopping by the words “base plate” alone. It suits someone assembling or maintaining a setup that specifically calls for this named part. For a planned build, use the designation to identify the base-plate position in your parts plan; for a replacement, match the complete product name. It’s a specialised piece, so I wouldn’t assume another plate will do the same job.
