BORG 5665 Front Cap For 65/56LENS
BORG 5665 Front Cap For 65/56LENS | Keep the lens front covered
Its defining choice is a front cap for the BORG lens named in the product title: a simple cover for the lens opening when the optic isn’t in use. That’s the job it’s made for, without adding controls or changing how the lens is used. It suits owners who want to cover the front between observing sessions, while storing their equipment, or when packing the lens away. The cap is most useful during those pauses, when the lens is not being used and you’d rather keep its front covered than leave it open. Take the cap off before using the lens. If you’re replacing a missing cap or keeping a matching part with your equipment, the product name gives you a specific reference to look for. It’s a straightforward accessory, with a deliberately narrow purpose: covering the front of the lens it’s made for.
Specialist Note
With the cap on, the lens front is covered while the optic is between sessions or packed away, so you can put the lens aside without leaving its opening exposed. I’d point this out to a BORG 65/56LENS owner who wants the matching cover for storage or moving a setup. The 65/56LENS designation tells you which lens it’s intended for, and 5665 is the part reference to use when identifying this cap. Its role is specific: it covers the lens front, rather than serving as a general accessory for other parts of your kit.
