BORG 5683 Cap 82mm
BORG 5683 Cap 82mm | A simple cover for an 82mm opening
At the end of a session, a lens or other optical opening can be left exposed while you pack away your equipment. The BORG 5683 Cap 82mm is a cap for covering an opening marked 82mm, giving you a straightforward way to keep it covered between uses and during storage. Its size is the key detail: match the 82mm marking to the opening you need to cover, rather than relying on appearance alone. This cap suits owners of equipment with a matching 82mm fitting who want a dedicated cover close at hand. Itâs best for the simple job a cap should do: keeping the opening covered when the equipment isnât in use. Thereâs no need to make a small accessory complicated; the useful thing here is having the size clearly identified.
Specialist Note
An uncovered opening is easy to forget when youâre packing up, and thatâs exactly the small problem this cap helps solve. The 82mm marking gives you a clear size to match against the fitting you want covered, which is handy when youâre sorting accessories or looking for a replacement. Iâd keep it with the equipment it belongs to, then use it whenever that opening is exposed between sessions or while the kit is stored. The BORG 5683 name and number also make it easier to identify this particular cap later. Itâs a simple, specific accessory; the important point is matching the 82mm size correctly.
