camRade Wetsuit ARRI Alexa Mini LF | Protection for transport and storage

Without a hard case, a camera moving between set and storage has less protection from knocks, dust and rain. The camRade Wetsuit ARRI Alexa Mini LF is a hard case intended for transporting and storing the ARRI Alexa Mini LF when the gear needs to withstand those conditions. It suits camera crews and owners who want a protective place for the camera when it’s not in active use. Its purpose is straightforward: help shield the equipment during moves and while it’s put away, rather than provide quick access like an open carry solution. Use it for location transfers, packing down after a call or keeping the camera stored between jobs. Having a dedicated case also gives the camera a consistent place to go when it’s time to move or put it away. This is focused protection for the Alexa Mini LF, not an all-purpose organiser for a wider kit.

Specialist Note

“Will this protect my Alexa Mini LF on the way to a location?” Yes—that’s the job I’d choose it for. It’s a hard case, intended to help protect the camera from knocks, dust and rain during transport and storage. Those are the two useful situations to keep in mind: put the camera in the case for a transfer, then use it again as its protected place between jobs. That hard-case format is the point here; this isn’t an open bag for grabbing the camera quickly. I’d treat the rain protection as useful for moving or storing gear, not as a reason to leave the case out in prolonged bad weather.
