CoreSWX Core SWX 15mm Articulating Micro 3-STUD Bat Plate

CoreSWX Core SWX 15mm Articulating Micro 3-STUD Bat Plate | Clear format identification

CoreSWX Core SWX 15mm Articulating Micro 3-STUD Bat Plate is a battery plate identified by a 15mm articulating Micro 3-STUD format; it’s intended for camera-builders who already know this is the plate designation their setup calls for. The name gives you several concrete identifiers rather than a broad, generic battery accessory label. That makes it easier to distinguish during a parts search or when matching a planned rig build, without guessing from a product photo. Its clearest appeal is this combination of named format and articulated design: you can select a specifically described plate instead of an unspecified one. If you're assembling a camera rig around a particular battery plate requirement, this is the description to assess against that requirement. We’d keep the decision tied to the exact designation, since the product name is the dependable guide available here.

On a rig parts list, small naming differences matter: recording the full product name gives you a clear reference when discussing the part with a rental house, colleague or camera department. Keep the wording intact, especially the terms that distinguish this version from other plates. That’s more useful than shortening it to “battery plate” and then having to work out which one was meant. For a specialist purchase, I’d treat the title as a matching label, not as a promise of fit with any particular camera, battery or rig. Compare the requirement you’re buying against the exact wording, and use that designation consistently in your build notes. It’s a straightforward way to avoid mixing up similarly named components.
