DZOFILM Dzo Film Koop Rear Filter-Magetic Base (Single)
DZOFILM Dzo Film KOOP Rear Filter-Magnetic Base (Single) | A magnetic base for rear filtration
Adding a rear filter to a DZOFilm KOOP setup gives you another way to shape the image before it reaches the camera. The DZOFILM Dzo Film KOOP Rear Filter-Magnetic Base (Single) provides the magnetic base for that rear-filter arrangement. It suits filmmakers building a KOOP setup around rear filtration and wanting the base as a separate, focused accessory. Use it as the mounting point for a chosen rear filter; the filter, rather than the base, determines the effect you see in the image. That makes this a practical part of a filter workflow, not a filter with a look of its own. It’s best suited to someone who already knows they want rear filtration in their setup and needs one magnetic base to support it. Keep the choice of filter tied to the look you’re after, and this base gives that filter a dedicated place in the arrangement.
Specialist Note
The magnetic base is the detail that matters here: it gives a rear filter a dedicated mounting point in a DZOFilm KOOP arrangement. I’d consider it for a setup where you want to build the image around a rear filter, rather than add a filter effect in post. You get one base, so it suits a single rear-filter position rather than a multi-base kit. For a scene where filtration is part of the intended look, fit the base into the KOOP arrangement and choose the rear filter for the effect you want. Just bear in mind that this is the base, not the filter itself; the visual result depends on the filter you use.
