EcoFlow 60W Solar Panel (Typec)

EcoFlow 60W Solar Panel (Typec) - Foldable 60 W solar charging

A phone, laptop or electric air pump needs power while you’re away from a wall socket: the EcoFlow 60W Solar Panel (Typec) is a portable, foldable solar panel rated at 60 Wp. Its USB-C connection supports direct charging, so you can use it for those devices without first routing the energy through a power station. The panel uses N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline silicon cells, and its four-panel folding layout packs down to roughly laptop size. That makes it easier to stow in a backpack, SUV or minibus when space matters. At 2 kg, it’s also a manageable panel to carry between stops. The rating gives you a clear reference point for portable solar charging; actual charging times depend on sunlight. EcoFlow quotes specific full-sun examples for phones, a powerbank and a laptop, detailed below. For charging an EcoFlow power station, the included DC5521-to-XT60i cable provides a separate connection option.

Key Features

• 60 Wp solar output: The panel’s rated power gives you a compact source of solar charging for trips away from mains power. Output from a solar panel depends on the available sun.
• USB-C charging: Connect compatible devices such as phones, laptops and electric air pumps directly to the panel. This is useful when you want to charge a device without adding a power station to your setup.
• Four folding sections: The panel folds down from its full size to a compact package, so it can be stowed in a backpack or vehicle. The folded dimensions are 31.7 × 30.9 × 4.5 cm.
• N-Type TOPCon cells: The monocrystalline silicon cell design is the technology used in this panel. It brings TOPCon construction to a portable, foldable 60 W unit.
• IP68 rating: The panel is rated for dust and water resistance. That rating is useful when it’s carried and used outdoors.
• Hanging points: Eyelets at the panel corners work with the four supplied hooks. You can hang the panel using those attachment points when a suitable place is available.

Good to know

EcoFlow’s full-sun examples are about 2.4 hours to charge a 4,500 mAh phone, 2.7 hours for an 8,000 mAh powerbank, and 1.2 hours to bring a 4,380 mAh laptop to 80%. These are specific reference figures for full sun and those stated battery capacities, not a single charging-time estimate for every device or condition.
