Eminent White 3 Meter U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors

Eminent White 3 Meter U/UTP CAT6 Patch Cable w/ RJ45 Connectors | A three-metre cable for a measured network run

What sets this Eminent patch cable apart is its clearly specified three-metre length: you can choose it for a run where a shorter lead won’t reach comfortably and a longer one would leave extra cable to manage. It’s for anyone setting up or rearranging a wired network connection who needs a white CAT6 cable with RJ45 connectors. The U/UTP designation is part of the cable type, so it’s easy to match against a requirement that names that format. This is a straightforward option for a modest run between connection points, rather than a cable to buy on guesswork. The honest practical point is that three metres is only useful if it covers the route you’ll actually take, including any turns around furniture or along a wall. Measure that path first, then choose the length that suits it.

Planning your cable run

Measure from the point where the cable will start to the point where it needs to end, following the route you plan to use rather than measuring straight across the room. Allow a little room for the cable to reach each connection point without being pulled tight. That’s especially helpful when the route goes around a desk, cabinet or other obstacle. If you’re replacing a cable, compare the route and required length with the lead you’re taking out; the old cable can be a useful guide, provided it followed the same path. The white colour can also make this lead easier to pick out when you’re sorting several cables. Keep the choice simple: this one is three metres, U/UTP CAT6, and fitted with RJ45 connectors.
