Falcon Eyes Foldable Softbox FESB-6090 60x90cm

Falcon Eyes Foldable Softbox FESB-6090 60x90cm | A foldable softbox in a rectangular format

Its foldable design is the detail that sets this Falcon Eyes softbox apart in the product name: it’s made to fold, rather than being described as a fixed-shape softbox. That makes it worth considering if you want a softbox in this particular format and prefer a foldable design. It suits photographers and other image-makers who are choosing a softbox by its size and shape, and who have a clear idea of where it needs to fit in their setup. There’s no need to read more into the name than that. It tells you the product type, the foldable construction and the dimensions; it doesn’t tell you how it will behave with a specific light or setup. The useful part is being able to judge those physical details before choosing. For a straightforward product, that’s a sensible place to start.

Considering the 60x90cm format

The stated dimensions are 60x90cm, giving you a rectangular shape to factor into your setup. Think about the space available for the softbox and how that shape fits the way you want to arrange your equipment. The measurements are concrete, which makes them more useful for planning than a vague description such as “large” or “compact”. They also give you a direct way to compare this softbox with the space you have in mind, without guessing from a photograph. If you’re weighing up several sizes, the 60x90cm measurement is the detail to use for that comparison. The honest point is that size alone can’t tell you whether it suits a particular light or working arrangement, so base your choice on the dimensions and the setup you’re planning.
