Falcon Eyes Softbox + Honeycomb Grid RX-24SBHC III For LED RX-24TDX III

Falcon Eyes Softbox + Honeycomb Grid RX-24SBHC III For LED RX-24TDX III | Softer light, better direction

Your light can look softer and stay more controlled in the frame, with the Falcon Eyes Softbox + Honeycomb Grid RX-24SBHC III for the LED RX-24TDX III. It combines a softbox and honeycomb grid, giving you a way to shape the light from that specific LED for portraits, product images or other studio work. The softbox softens the light; the grid helps keep it from spreading as widely across the scene. That can be handy when you want a gentler look on your subject but would rather not wash the background or nearby surfaces with extra light. This is a focused accessory for owners of the RX-24TDX III, rather than a general-purpose lighting modifier. If you already use that light, it gives you another way to manage how it appears in your pictures without changing the subject or the rest of your setup.

Shaping the light in your setup

A softbox and a honeycomb grid do different jobs here. The softbox changes the character of the light, while the grid helps direct it more narrowly. Used together, they’re suited to situations where you want softer illumination with less spill around the area you’re lighting. That can make a scene easier to balance, especially when the background is close to your subject or you’re working with a deliberate patch of light.

There’s no need to treat the grid as a separate lighting effect: its role is to help control where the light goes. For a portrait, that may mean keeping more light on the person and less on the surrounding space. For a small product setup, it can help you keep light off nearby objects. The actual result will depend on where you place the RX-24TDX III and the subject, so a small adjustment to the light’s position can change the look. The key point is the pairing: softer light from the softbox, with the grid helping to contain its spread.
