Formatt Hitech FC 52mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol.
Formatt Hitech FC 52mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol. | Control reflections and stack filters
Reflections on water and glass can become less distracting, and skies can look deeper, with the Formatt Hitech FC 52mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol. This circular polarizing filter is for photographers who want to manage reflected light in-camera rather than rely on editing later. Rotate the filter while looking through the viewfinder or at the screen to find the effect that suits the scene; the result changes with the angle of the light, so small adjustments matter. Its 52mm size identifies the filter size, while the superslim design is intended to keep the filter profile low. It’s also stackable, which gives you the option to combine it with another filter. That makes it a practical pick for landscape work, photographing reflective surfaces, or any setup where controlling glare is useful. The effect is most noticeable when the light and camera position are right, rather than in every scene.
Specialist Note
First-time polarizer users often treat the filter as a fixed attachment, then wonder why the reflections haven’t changed. With this circular polarizer, take a moment to rotate it while watching the scene; that’s how you find the setting that reduces glare on water or glass. The 52mm size is the key detail when matching it to your filter setup, and the superslim profile is welcome if you plan to stack filters. I’d suggest it to someone who regularly photographs reflective subjects or landscapes and is happy to adjust the filter for each composition. One honest caveat: polarization depends on the light angle, so the effect won’t be equally strong in every direction.
