Formatt Hitech FC 77mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol.
Formatt Hitech FC 77mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol. | Control reflections
Formatt Hitech FC 77mm Superslim Stackable Cir.pol. is a 77mm circular polarizing filter for photographers with a lens that takes 77mm filters. It suits anyone who wants to manage reflections and sky contrast while composing, particularly for water, glass and outdoor scenes. Rotate a polarizing filter to vary how much reflected light is suppressed: that can make details easier to see through reflective surfaces and help a blue sky appear deeper beside the clouds. Its superslim, stackable design makes it a considered option when putting together a filter setup. This is a hands-on tool, not a fixed-effect filter; the result changes with the light and the direction you’re shooting, so you’ll adjust it as you frame. If reflections are a regular distraction in your pictures, this filter gives you a direct way to work on them at the lens.
Specialist Note
Reflections are something you can fine-tune as you compose: rotate the circular filter and stop when water or glass looks the way you want. For a sky, adjust it while framing and judge the result against the clouds; the effect varies with shooting direction, so there’s no single setting to rely on. The 77mm size is for a lens with a matching filter thread, and the superslim profile keeps the filter’s build low. I’d point this towards landscape and architectural photographers who want deliberate control over reflections. One practical note: polarizers reduce incoming light, so keep an eye on exposure. Its stackable design also lets you build a filter setup with other stackable filters.
