Formatt Hitech Firecrest J Tijntjelaar 100mm Kit #2 +holder
Formatt Hitech Firecrest J Tijntjelaar 100mm Kit #2 +holder | 100mm protection setup
Without a dedicated protection filter, the front of your lens is exposed while you work; this Formatt Hitech kit is a filter-based option for adding a protective layer. It’s a 100mm Firecrest J Tijntjelaar Kit #2, and the title specifies a holder. That makes it relevant to photographers who already use, or are putting together, a 100mm filter setup and want a protection-focused kit rather than a single loose filter. The 100mm format is the key detail to match to your existing system. The product name doesn’t identify a particular filter effect, so I’d choose it for its stated protection category, not for an assumed creative result. For landscape or street photography, it’s intended for the practical job of placing protection at the lens front while you shoot. It’s a specific-format purchase, rather than a universal fit for every lens.
Specialist Note
The 100mm format makes this a considered purchase: your filter setup needs to use that size. If it does, the holder named in the title is a useful part of the proposition, because this is presented as a kit rather than a filter-only listing. For landscape work, use the protection filter at the lens front while composing and shooting; for street photography, it serves the same protective role as you move between scenes. I’d match the 100mm format to your existing setup first, then choose this kit for that protection-focused use. The honest limit is that the title alone doesn’t make it a fit for every filter system.
