Godox 8m DC Power Cord For MG1200R

Godox 8m DC Power Cord For MG1200R | More room for your setup

Your MG1200R setup gets more freedom in where you place the light: this Godox DC power cord gives you an eight-metre run to work with. It suits MG1200R owners who need extra distance between the light and its DC power connection. The benefit is simple: you have more room to arrange the setup around your working space, rather than placing the light close to the power point just to reach it. That can make a difference when you want the light farther from your immediate work area. As you position everything, plan the cable route too; extra reach is useful, but a clear path helps keep the working area orderly. It’s a focused accessory for a specific job, and its length is the detail that matters most when deciding if it fits your setup.

Planning the cable run

Before setting the light in place, trace the route from its position to the power connection. Allow for the path the cord needs to follow around your working area, rather than measuring only the straight-line distance. Keep the route clear of places where people need to walk, and avoid pulling the cord tight around corners or across a busy area. A little thought at the start can save you from having to shift the light once the rest of the setup is ready. These are practical considerations for any cable run, and especially helpful when you’re making use of extra reach.

Who it suits

This is for someone building or adjusting a setup around the MG1200R who wants a longer DC power connection. If the light needs to sit farther from the place it draws power, the added reach can give you more choice in positioning. If your setup already places the light close to that connection, a longer cord may not change much about your day. Think about where the light will sit and how the cable can get there cleanly; that’s the useful test for this particular accessory.
