H&Y RevoRing 52-72mm Variable Adapter For 77mm Filters
H&Y RevoRing 52-72mm Variable Adapter For 77mm Filters | One filter across different lens threads
You’re switching between lenses and would rather not carry a separate filter for every front thread. The H&Y RevoRing is a variable adapter that lets you use a compatible filter across lenses with different thread sizes. Its stated range suits lens threads from 52mm to 72mm, while the filter it takes is 77mm. That makes it useful if you already work with filters in that size and want a more flexible way to use them across a lens kit. It’s especially suited to photographers who change lenses during a session and want to keep their filter setup simple. For landscapes, for example, you can move the same filter between suitable lenses as you reframe a scene. The key point is the size range: this is for threads within that span, not every lens. Check the thread size marked on each lens before planning your setup.
Specialist Note
This adapter gives you a direct way to use one 77mm filter across lenses with different front threads, instead of assembling a separate filter kit for each size. The 52–72mm range is the detail to keep in mind: it covers a spread of lens threads, so it can make sense for a kit that includes several different lenses. I’d consider it for landscape work or for moving between lenses while keeping the same filter in use; fit it to a lens within the range, then attach your filter. It won’t suit a lens outside that span, so it pairs best with a kit whose thread sizes fall within it.
