Hahnemühle Agave 290GSM 24 INCHX12 M

Hahnemühle Agave 290GSM 24 INCHX12 M | A wide roll for considered print planning

Your print can be planned around a wide roll format and a clearly stated paper weight. Hahnemühle Agave is printer paper for photographers and printmakers who want to choose stock by its named product and measurable format, rather than by vague claims about how a print should look. Its 24-inch width and 12-metre length give you room to plan a run of prints, while 290 gsm is a useful figure when comparing paper weights. The name identifies the Agave paper range; it isn't a promise of a particular surface or colour rendering. That’s an honest distinction: the image you get depends on the file, printer and settings as well as the paper. If those dimensions and weight suit the work you have in mind, this roll gives you a specific starting point for your print plans.

Planning your prints

A roll can make sense when you want to plan prints in more than one size, rather than choose a single sheet size. Think through the finished dimensions and how you intend to lay out the work before you start printing; that helps you make practical use of the paper you’ve chosen. The stated weight can also help you compare this option with other paper when weight is part of your decision. Those figures describe the product, but they don’t tell the whole story of how a photograph will appear. For a particular look, your own test print is a more useful guide than a broad promise. This is a straightforward product to assess on the details that are provided: the Hahnemühle Agave name, the paper weight and the roll dimensions.
